So it is spring…. well kind of … but we can definitely say that winter is over. No more need to hide from the wind, no more need to think carefully about what you are going to wear and sleep in dry air thanks to the electrical heating.
Spring brings with it some fresh hormones, short skirts, some motivation to get with the wearers of the short skirts and lots of opportunities for change in the way you live.
The change for me has a lot to do with getting rid of Patrick and moving out of St-Henri. The new job is also a nice change. Sure the fuckin’ kernel won’t boot бляяяят, иди нахуй курец дейбиш мамка му мръсна АйБиЕм-ска… but otherwise I am learning a lot about linux and $14/hour is not to be refused in these tough intra-scholarship times.
Yet every day, for the past couple of weeks something is lacking in my life. I am depressed. Well not really depressed but surely I don’t feel at the top of the world. I smoked the drogs with J. and G. to feel good but that is only a temporary relief. Besides, they don’t want to listen to my bullshit anymore. Maybe I need new friends with tech ideas?
Flash Update: The kernel boots. Jean compiled one from scratch and now we have FINALLY a working system

We have 8 CPUs, Xeon 2.2Ghz and 12G of RAM. A separate RAID array with 14 scsi slots. And a tape changer for automated backups. Ya man…. it boots it boots…. forget it I’m not depressed anymore :)
