I am pulling an all-nighter but I don’t think even that will help with the Schur presentation…. think damage recovery… think saving face… think write something on them damn slides and try to pass them quickly in front of the audience….. target sleep time…. 7:30 leave home…. so if i go to bed at 4 it should be good.

I am thoroughly dissapinted by this legalize it talk. Well not the presentation was alright but the complete lack of free weed after the event. People were not sharing!! And the speaker went on and on about how my people like to share.
I had a toke but it was really insufficient.
The guy is a bit of a nut, as could have been expected, but in the end I think he is a good guy passionate about what he does.
He talked quite a bit and covered many topics:
So basically he has sold over 1million seeds to people in the states. The DA wants his ass to get extradited and most likely he will get extradited. And go to jail for 50 years.
The one thing that I found odd was the questions Q1 and Q2. At this point I realized that he is more of a politician than a pothead. Targeted delivery of the lecture to the McGill supposedly jewish crowd. I wonder how he presented the same lecture in Concordia. Still a funny guy though let’s hope he doesn’t go to jail.
I was just really dissapointed by the fact that people didn’t share that much of the magic substance after the talk. On the plus side, now I can write about something.
I am back in my hometown. I have quite a few assignments to work on but it can all be done. In GR I already have the solutions and in QI I will have to think about how to survive. Plus the project is kind of coming soon….
So I killed the bottle and now I am having trouble writing on the keyboard. I had a no- nonsense drinking eveing with one of the leaders of modern QI. Good times. We was drinking aged rhum and comparing the two lading brands of the island so that we know what to buy tomorrow for the take-home.
This has been an un-eventful week. The beach is nice and all but I feel I am missing out on a lot. No chix - i already said that.
Wow… rhum is a pretty classy drunkedness. I am still here but at the same time not….
I bought some weed today off of some random guy. 20$BD for a the bottom of the bag which will still get me high though…. i was expecting some nice buds like in Jamaica but you have to live with what yiou got. This was the main selling point of the guy: “You got no smoke and you want to argue with me?”
You got no smoke…. the situation of the tourist. Well now I have smoke. Mostly :sitnesj: though but good enough to get high on the island.
I wish there was some more hot chix around me and I could make moves to them of make love to them on the beach…. now that would be a COMPLETE barbados experience but we will have to settle with the weed.
Tomorrow I am going to have a classic day at the beach… wake up early sleep on the beach and just read a book or somethig ALL DAY LONG. I promise to you all to make at least 3 moves on the hot ladies nearby… no matter if they are old… you godda take what you have
This place is chill. But I don’t like it too much. I miss most of the day listening to the lectures. Some lectures were really interesting but some are too boring or too advanced for me. Some are just plain wrong and we spend hours explaining to the speaker why he should go and shoot himself. I don’t — the others do.
In the evening we drink the Rhum and the beer. The food has been really good too. But I don’t like the atmosphere. For one, there are no chix. Of course no one of the conference is female but no one on the whole fuckin’ island is hot because they are all rich 40 year old mothers. There are some trophee wives here and there but nothing for me.
Tomorrow we are going on a excursion to a cave and to the east coast which should be fun.
I am generally depressed because no one wants to sleep with me…. same story different country….
Tomorrow I will be in the sun all day.
I can’t wait man. I have everything prepared. I have the book, the sun block, the beach towel and good spirit. I will have to find a bottle of rhum when I get there and I will be complete.
Fuck working on assignments - all I want is beach and sun.

Good day today. I gave a good tutorial and people listened and followed what I was talking about. It is amazing what a difference even a couple of minutes makes when you are going to be teaching. The prof is really killing these kids so it is my job to save as much of them as possible. There is not a single hot chick in the class though - I would be so much more motivated if they were all pretty… not necessarily blonde - that would be too much work.
I am studying representation theory and starting to understand what it is all about. I think I am ready for the worckshop in barbados now. Leaving Sunday morning and coming back in a week. All expenses covered by my sup. Brilliant!
Other than that there is nothing too important happening with me. See you all in a week!
With three assignments overdue and a lot of side-projects on the backburn it was about time I started doing some work. I am almost done with one assignment now and even though it is evening already I can still go on…
Not clear how to solve some problems. I am not thinking about them in the right way I think.
I also have taxes to pay. I should have paid them today but I didn’t get around to doing it. There goes the interest that will be charged immediately. Thank you Ville de Montreal. I might as well take my time then - especially since there is not much cash in the account.
Marinski left. It is going to be just me and Asad. Actually I think Arlo is going to be joining us. To me it makes 200$/month difference. I still get my room and can chill in the livingroom and stuff. Asad though - he has to share the room with him. He hasn’t even moved in and we are already burning too many joints.
If it is just me and Asad there will be 400$ coming in. If Arlo is here too then it is 600$. That almost covers the mortgage payment so I am strongly for Arlo being here. What are the disadvantages? Lack of privacy? Asad is a good guy and so is Arlo so I don’t think we’ll be in each other’s way. We will only find out in time.
Now let’s solve that fuckin’ problem and be done with the assignment!
